“Valentise” is a combination of Valentine and Elise. You guessed it, the names of our two daughters.
Our house is a kangaroo home, and the holiday home is part of the main house. The self-contained, 70 m² apartment has its own private entrance and is completely separate from our living area. We bought the house in 2010 and my husband completely renovated it, including the apartment, which was finished in 2015.
Our experience has taught us that it is not always easy to travel with 4. In many hotels you have to rent 2 rooms, which is uncomfortable and expensive. And that’s how Valentise was born: a cozy, quiet, affordable space, with a garden, trampoline and swimming pool to base yourself to explore the whole of Belgium. There are 2 separate bedrooms, and when the kids are asleep, Mom and Dad can still socialize or watch TV. There are also a lot of activities for children in the neighborhood, and you can find toys in the apartment. Everything is included in the price, such as fresh bed linen, towels, cleaning and WiFi. So no need to pack bed linen or towels in your suitcase! We also have a baby bed and baby chair.
Many of our clients are families traveling with children, hoping to discover Belgium or visiting family and friends. In addition, music fans come for events festivals such Werchter or Tomorrowland, and we also see a lot of business people attending trade fairs and exhibitions. Due to our central location, you’ll quickly get to Brussels Expo or Antwerp Expo and Mechelen Nekkerhal is minutes away. Last but not least, there are the workmen who are working on a job in the area. A big advantage is the ample parking space for your car or van beside the house in our safe and quiet neighborhood. Whatever the reason for your trip, it’s always nice to have your own ‘home from home’ to return to.
